Wyoming is where the Great Plains meets the Rocky Mountains. The state is broken up by many mountain ranges including the Teton ranges, Big Horn Mountains, the Black Hills, the Laramie, Medicine Bow and Sierra Madre. The Wind River Range includes the Gannett Peak, the highest point in the state and can be incorporated into the Wyoming Logo Design. There are also several rivers including the Yellowstone River, Powder River and the Snake River.
Wyoming is a largely agricultural state and produce cattle, hay, sugar beets, wheat, barley, and wool. The state also has a great mineral production including coal, natural gas, coal bed methane, crude oil, uranium and trona.
Branding in a rural state such as Wyoming is imperative. Small states are difficult to market in as the community tends to be very conventional. They tend to stick to businesses that are well established in the community. Using the natural features of the state and the state’s industry are great methods to build credibility with the community.
